Secret Gardens Miami is a beautiful tropical property located in the Redlands agricultural area which is about 20 miles southwest of Downtown Miami, FL. The drive down from Fort Lauderdale is always an adventure and good thing I’m adventurous. When Dannica & James reached out about them traveling down from South Carolina to capture their engagement photos it was even more excitement. I highly suggested us beginning early morning due to the fact that South Florida heat outdoor in tropical areas is a sweat storm waiting to happen. In the morning, the dusk sun is much more calmer.
Some of the views at this property are simply amazing. They have several waterfalls with crystal blue waters that look amazing to capture in the background of photos. The greenery and ‘Love’ sign is always an additional selling point for those interested at shooting at this location. Dannica & James wore two outfits. The first was a beautiful sparkly wine colored gown that matched Dannica’s style and grace. Meanwhile, James wore a wine colored Suede Men Blazer along with slacks and loafers to perfectly compliment his fiancée. Their second outfit was a black casual but elegant ensemble.
Oh yea, did I mention that they wanted to rent a horse as a prop in their photoshoot?! Yes, Secret Gardens Miami offers horses and even a lion to accompany you(along with a professional trainer of course) in your photos. These two had great chemistry with each other and it reminded me of why I love engagement photography so much.
